Job summary

OQ is seeking an Internal Audit professional to plan, oversee, and report on internal audit assignments in a dynamic environment. The role requires applying auditing standards, using data analytics, and mentoring junior auditors to uphold risk controls and operational excellence.

The incumbent will develop and manage audit programs, ensure timely completion, and drive continuous improvement through actionable recommendations and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, supervise and report on specific audit assignments.
• Develop comprehensive audit programs covering audit objectives/risks.
• Ensure audits are completed within time.
• Apply IA standards and use latest audit methods and data analysis tools.
• Draft audit reports and obtain endorsement.
• Follow up on findings to ensure continuous risk improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to auditors.
