Job summary

Omantel is seeking an Internal Auditor to conduct audits as per the audit plan, monitor audit assistants, and ensure compliance with International Auditing Standards. The candidate must have 4-6 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance, and a preferred certification such as CIA. The role entails writing reports, assisting the audit team, and staying updated on IFRS developments. This position is based in Muscat, Oman.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 - 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Professional certification in accountancy/CIA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit in accordance with the audit plan.
• Monitor and control the audit assistants.
• Execute audit programs and collect evidence.
• Prepare work papers and audit conclusions.
• Write reports as required and assist audit team.
• Maintain knowledge of IFRS developments.
