Job summary
SEGULA Technologies Middle East is seeking experienced Commissioning Engineers to support commissioning, testing and final acceptance of utility-scale renewable-energy and associated power systems in Duqm, Oman. Mobilization is January 2027 for a 10-month assignment at site.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in commissioning, including start-up, reliability and performance testing on power/renewable projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of commissioning experience required.
- Experience on power/renewable or major industrial projects.
- Experience with start-up, reliability runs, performance tests and acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Witness equipment and system start-up tests.
- Monitor commissioning activities.
- Witness reliability-run testing.
- Participate in performance testing.
- Verify acceptance testing.
- Review commissioning procedures and test documentation.
- Coordinate interfaces between electrical, mechanical and construction teams.
- Monitor punch-list closure and technical matters.
- Review test results and commissioning records.
- Support system completion, acceptance and handover.
