Job summary

Maseera is seeking an experienced Civil Planning Engineer (Buildings) to join our project team in Oman. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for building construction projects to ensure timely completion.

The ideal candidate will have 8–15 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and strong skills in Primavera P6 or MS Project, with excellent analytical and reporting abilities. GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in planning and scheduling of building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools and scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with contracting or construction companies preferred.
• GCC experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, baseline programs, and work breakdown structures (WBS) for building projects.
• Develop and monitor project plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Track project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Monitor resource allocation and productivity.
• Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning when required.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements.
