Job summary

Worley in Oman is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to lead and support civil/structural design within the OQEP project delivery framework. The role emphasizes coordination, technical accuracy, and value engineering across the project lifecycle in the oil and gas sector.

You will prepare key documents, review contractor deliverables, and ensure economic and technical soundness while guiding the team toward safe, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Civil/Structural engineering and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks and activities associated with Civil Engineering in OQEP/Project Delivery.
• Support and execute engineering activities linked to Civil engineering.
• Prepare documentation and SOW, establishing major methods and data as necessary, and ensure the selection of the optimum Civil design from both technical and economic standpoints.
• Coordinate, execute, and monitor Civil/Structural design and ensure quality and economy of Civil/Structural engineering applications design for projects.

Key Accountability

• This position is responsible to execute the tasks and activities associated with Civil Engineering in OQEP/ Project Delivery.
• Responsible for supporting and executing all engineering activities directly linked to Civil engineering.
• Prepare the necessary documentation, SOW, establishing major methods and data as necessary, and ensure the selection of the optimum Civil design from both technical and economic standpoints.
• Be responsible for the coordination, execution, and progress of Civil /Structural Engineering design and the technical accuracy, quality, and economy of Civil/Structural engineering applications design for projects.
• Review of all OQEP EPC contractors' civil deliverables, documents and drawings during CES, FEED Tender, FEED, EPC Tender, EPC-DD, EPC- P&C till EPC Closeout of each project.
• Require candidate with minimum 10 years of experience in Oil& Gas holding bachelor degree in Engineering.
