• Reviews documentation of flows of transactions and tests of controls early in the audit cycle.
• Suggests mitigating testing when controls are ineffective with professional skepticism.
• Recognizes opportunities to add value by leveraging across the firm and coordinating with specialists.
• Engages scheduling and engagement teams; communicates expectations clearly.
• Performs reviews with professional skepticism and ensures testing supports management's assertions.
• Complies with auditing standards, laws, ethics, independence, and firm quality controls.
