Seasonal Truck Driver

We are currently hiring a Seasonal Truck Driver for our transportation company in Al Buraymi. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for a temporary job, especially those who are Indian nationals and have a 12th grade education. As a Seasonal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations within the city.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate truck with care and caution, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring proper weight distribution
• Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition
• Communicate with clients and warehouse staff to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain log book according to company policies
• Adhere to all maintenance schedules for the truck, reporting any issues or concerns immediately
• Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
• At least 1 year of experience as a truck driver preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical examination
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
• Physically fit with the ability to load/unload goods up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and electronic logging devices preferred but not required
• Must have own visa or work permit in Oman

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this seasonal position.
