Job summary

A technology services company is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Specialist located in Oman, Al Buraymi Governorate. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba, focusing on Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management. Responsibilities include configuration and customization of Ariba solutions, troubleshooting integration issues, and leading implementation projects. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology is required. Excellent communication skills and a background in consultancy are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have Ariba configuration, enhancement, and customization experience.
• Experience of at least 2 end to end SAP Ariba implementations.

Job description

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Ariba – Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management.
• Commerce Automation, Ariba Buying and CIG Integration with SAP S4/Hana.
• Must have Ariba configuration, enhancement, and customization experience.
• Must have detailed understanding of the Approval Rules and workflow configuration in Ariba.
• Must have expertise in Ariba templates and dashboard configurations.
• Ariba upstream and downstream reports creation/modification.
• Experience with Ariba data load files (example: mass loads of supplier profiles, users, groups, etc...).
• Proficiency in deployment and integration of end-to-end solutions.
• Very good experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Ariba and SAP ERP integrations.
• Have reasonable level of expertise with product functionalities.
• Minimum 5 years SAP Ariba experience.
• Strengths in either downstream modules OR upstream modules (full S2P advantageous).
• Strong business process understanding – must be capable to functional lead level.
• Experience of at least 2 end to end SAP Ariba implementations on a large scale.
• Background in Procurement, Supply Chain or SRM/MM.
• Ideally experienced across SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Excellent client side/business communication skills.
• Previous experience working within a Consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a bachelor’s degree in technology from a recognized university.
