Job summary

Durucooperation in Oman seeks a Rotating Inspector to inspect rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, motors) in oil and gas facilities, ensuring integrity, reliability, and compliance with international standards. You will support maintenance activities and review documentation.

The role requires extensive experience with ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM and related standards, and strong collaboration with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams during inspections and shutdowns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 15 years of experience, including 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM, and other applicable international standards.
• Experience in rotating equipment inspection within upstream oil & gas facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and related machinery.
• Verify maintenance, repair, and installation activities meet project specs and international standards.
• Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and condition assessments of rotating equipment.
• Review maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM, and other standards.
• Identify equipment defects, recommend corrective actions, and monitor repairs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams during inspections and shutdowns.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain quality documents.
• Ensure compliance with client HSE policies and company quality procedures.
• Support reliability improvement and asset integrity initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 15 years of experience, including 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region (OR) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with minimum 20 years of experience, including 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region.

• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, ASNT-TC-1A, ASTM, and other applicable international standards.

• Experience in rotating equipment inspection within upstream oil & gas facilities.
