Job summary

talentarabia is seeking an experienced Road Engineer in Oman to support a major infrastructure project. The role targets a senior Civil Engineering professional with extensive roads/highways and Smart City project experience in the GCC environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to planning, execution, coordination, and QA/QC of major road works, with emphasis on roadworks, asphalt, drainage, and infrastructure coordination for a large-scale infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of Roads & Highways experience.
• 10+ years of Smart City / infrastructure project experience.
• 10+ years of GCC / Middle East experience.
• Strong knowledge of roadworks, asphalt, drainage, QA/QC, coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities for major road and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate road and highway construction activities.
• Review and support roadworks, asphalt, drainage, and related infrastructure activities.
• Coordinate with project teams and other infrastructure disciplines.
• Support QA/QC requirements for road and highway works.
• Monitor technical compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Assist with infrastructure coordination across different project workstreams.
• Identify and address technical issues related to road and infrastructure works.
• Support project planning, execution, and technical reporting.
• Contribute to the delivery of Smart City and infrastructure initiatives.
