Job summary

GulfDesign UAE is seeking an experienced Merchandiser for our Nizwa, Oman store. You will ensure attractive, well-stocked displays and use sales data to optimize product placement and promotions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with buyers, analyzing sales, training staff, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain inventory. Fluency in English is preferred; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Merchandiser in a retail environment.
• Ability to interpret sales data and make decisions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the buying team to select and order products for the store
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize assortment
• Create visually appealing in-store displays with signage and promotions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery
• Train and supervise store staff on merchandising techniques
• Conduct regular store walk-throughs to ensure displays are clean and stocked
• Stay updated on industry trends to inform merchandising decisions
