Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of radio equipment systems including antennas, receivers, transmitters and frequency modulation techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Malayalam is a plus.
• Physically fit as the job may require lifting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair radio equipment according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with radio equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep accurate records of all work performed.
• Identify replacement parts needed for repairs and order them as necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with new technology in the field of radio communication.
• Conduct tests on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed.
