Job description

Title: Quality & Reliability Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional Authority for Quality and Reliability Program Management & Technical Assurance
  • Establish and execute the overarching Reliability Strategy for all APS (Asset Performance Solutions Business unit) projects, ensuring alignment with corporate business objectives and client contractual requirements.
  • Develop and monitor Reliability KPIs, defect density metrics, equipment performance indices, and failure mode controls.
  • Implement industry leading reliability practices into project execution and develop Reliability matrices for continuous monitoring of Project Health.
  • Lead internal/external audits, quality walks, RCA workshops, and quality performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs focusing on reducing rework, minimizing waste, and improving first‑time‑right execution.
  • Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, and PMT teams to ensure quality is embedded during planning, execution, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Ensure project personnel are trained and competent on all quality and reliability requirements.
  • Own and continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality governance aligned with ISO 9001 and project specific Quality policy requirements.
  • Act as the focal point for client quality teams and certification bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive a culture of quality, technical integrity, and reliability excellence across all operational sites.
  • Support business development initiatives in MENA by planning and executing sales strategies, including long‑term maintenance programs, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, turnaround programs, master data management, reliability centered maintenance, and spare optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in O&M, providing insights and guidance to the executive team.
  • Mentor a high‑performing team of Maintenance and Reliability professionals fostering innovation, excellence, and accountability.
  • Drive implementation of alliances/JVs and other collaborative partners for APS business.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and job income targets and KPIs, demonstrating track record of success in driving business growth and profitability in the MENA market.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years in energy industry O&M and 5+ years in O&M solutions with digital accelerators.
  • Knowledge of upstream‑onshore/offshore, refining, petrochemical/chemical, energy transition, and process services in the Middle East and Africa.
  • 30% travel required to meet customers regularly.
  • Tech savvy and experience with digital asset management solutions in the energy industry such as APM, remote performance monitoring, real‑time optimization, AI process analytics, AI predictive maintenance.
