Job Description: QC Inspector

Location: Oman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Inspector to support quality assurance and control activities on a marine infrastructure construction project in Oman. The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications, and will play a key role in maintaining quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Conduct inspections and tests on construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • - Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
  • - Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures.
  • - Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • - Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and inspection checklists.
  • - Ensure that all quality records are properly maintained and archived.
  • - Participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness.
  • - Report quality-related issues to the QA/QC Officer and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • - Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or marine infrastructure projects.
  • - Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation practices.
  • - Experience with LNG projects is .
  • - Familiarity with international quality standards and codes.
  • - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • - Strong communication and reporting abilities.
  • - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • - Willingness to be based full-time on-site in Oman.
  • - Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • - Valid passport and ability to travel as required.
