Job summary

JobLeader in Nizwa, Oman, seeks a reliable Driver to transport goods and/or passengers. You will operate company vehicles safely, plan routes, and maintain vehicles, while keeping records and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years driving experience, a valid license, and good English communication. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver.
• Valid driver's license for the specific vehicle type.
• Good knowledge of Nizwa roads and traffic laws.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods and/or passengers from one location to another.
• Load and unload goods or assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
• Plan the most efficient route to reach destinations on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle.
• Keep track of maintenance schedule and report any issues or concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols while driving, including wearing seatbelts at all times.
• Communicate effectively with clients or passengers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
