Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Systems Engineer (Digital Oilfield Solutions) with a strong background in production engineering and oilfield management systems to support and grow our Digital Oilfield Solutions and related applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of oil and gas production operations, experience implementing digital workflows, and a proven ability to identify business opportunities and drive solution adoption within client organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Operational Excellence

• Design, implement, and maintain multiple production operational workflows used by production and reservoir engineering teams.
• Develop and configure workflows covering:
• Daily data acquisition, data validation, and quality control rules.
• Well test validation, rate estimation, and back allocation.Asset and well-level surveillance, well performance, and shortfall analysis.
• Waterflood monitoring and optimization.
• Custom calculations and advanced analytics in our Digital Oilfield Solutions portfolio.
• Create intuitive visualization and reporting dashboards for clients to verify daily data, track KPIs, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional client teams, including Production, Reservoir, and IT departments, to ensure seamless workflow integration and system reliability.
• Conduct client training sessions and technical workshops to ensure effective utilization of deployed workflows and software tools.

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Identify and evaluate business opportunities to expand the use of our digital oilfield solutions across client projects.
• Engage proactively with key client stakeholders to upsell, cross-sell, and propose enhancements to existing solutions.
• Support the commercial team with technical presentations, proposal development, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Serve as a technical advisor to clients, translating field challenges into actionable digital solutions.
• Maintain strong, trust-based client relationships to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting digital oilfield management platforms.Demonstrated business development or technical sales experience, preferably in oilfield digital solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Language skills: Advanced English required; Arabic a plus
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the region as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with production optimization, reservoir surveillance, and digital transformation initiatives in oil and gas.
• Experience in preparing and delivering technical proposals, client demos, and proofs of concept.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Spotfire, etc.) is a plus.
