Gender seeks a Principal Reservoir Engineer in Oman to oversee development planning, reservoir management, and simulation efforts for ABB Development. You will lead workflows, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to mature reserves and optimize production.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering, 10+ years in reservoir engineering, proficiency with Eclipse, OFM, and KR packages, and excellent English; Arabic desirable.

Job title Principal Reservoir Engineering Grade Stream Upstream E&P Function Operated Assets Subsurface - Development Location Oman - HO Budget control *OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant* Reporting to Team Lead Bisat WRM Direct reports Job purpose Apply reservoir engineering & Simulation to the subsurface development ABB Development, by (1) Conducting workflows pertaining to reserves maturation, well testing, field development planning update reservoir management strategies, (2) Monitor a range of activities, including well surveillance, fluid sampling, well testing and completion operations, (3) Work and support with multi-disciplinary team to apply reservoir engineering practices to reservoir management, well test design and analysis, reservoir simulation, reserves evaluation & estimation, and (4) Directing lab workflows, managing lab data, working PVT data analysis (with internal and external PVT reports), developing EoS models & BOT, developing final report, and presenting post project reviews with BUs. The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justification s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.
