PPOAR is hiring a Plumber in Al Buraymi, Oman to install, maintain and repair piping systems for residential and commercial projects. You will read blueprints and ensure compliance with building codes while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as Plumber.
• Completion of apprenticeship program preferred.
• Certification as a plumber is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand or power tools
• Test pipes for leaks using air pressure gauges
• Comply with building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, HVAC technicians, etc. on large projects
• Provide excellent customer service to clients

Plumber

As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing pipes, fixtures and other plumbing systems. You will have experience in both residential and commercial plumbing work and will be able to read blueprints and drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber (minimum 3 years)
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Solid understanding of water distribution systems in commercial/residential buildings
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (able to read blueprints/drawings)
• Physically fit (able to lift heavy objects)
• Available visa sponsorship (if required)

Education/Certification

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of apprenticeship program preferred; certification as a plumber is an advantage.

Working Conditions

This position requires physical labor including but not limited to standing for long periods of time, bending over frequently, lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment can be indoors or outdoors depending on the type of project.

Salary

Salary for this position is $1500 per month.
