Job summary

India Abroad Publications Inc. is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Tutor in Nizwa, Oman to provide personalized, one-on-one instruction to students across Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.

You will assess learning needs, create customized lesson plans, and monitor progress, communicating with parents and collaborating with fellow tutors to share best practices. A bachelor’s in Education and at least 2 years of tutoring experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
• Native English speaker preferred or equivalent proficiency.
• Must have own visa/work permit for employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students in various subjects including Math, English, Science and Social Studies.
• Assess students' learning needs to develop personalized lesson plans.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance understanding.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on areas of improvement.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• Collaborate with other tutors or teachers to share resources and best practices for effective tutoring.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
