Part-Time Librarian

Our library in Khasab is seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about books and helping others discover the joy of reading. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and book selection, and organizing events and programs to promote literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library's collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding out outdated materials
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide recommendations for books based on their interests
• Plan and organize events and programs such as book clubs, author visits, and workshops to promote literacy in the community
• Maintain a welcoming and organized environment in the library for all patrons
• Keep up-to-date with new releases and trends in literature to ensure a diverse collection of materials for all ages

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
