Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience, preferably for the elderly.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate and patient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from family or healthcare professionals.
• Physical ability to assist with personal care tasks such as lifting or transferring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Administer medication as prescribed by a doctor.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.
• Engage in conversation and activities with the individual.
• Keep track of changes in condition and report to family or healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe environment for the individual at all times.
