Job summary

Instrument Technician in Muscat, Oman is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing instrumentation equipment in the oil and gas industry. You will handle pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors and temperature probes, ensuring safe operation and compliance with company policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (technical degree preferred) and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Instrument Technician or similar.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with instrumentation used in oil & gas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors and temperature probes.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform required repairs or replacements.
• Calibrate instrumentation according to manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Keep accurate records of all work on instrumentation equipment.
• Coordinate work with team members to schedule tasks.
