PeopleStrong is seeking a Quality Supervisor - Welding for an Offshore Fabrication Project. The role involves supervising all welding and allied activities in the fabrication yard, ensuring compliance with approved WPS/PQR/ITP and project specs, and coordinating with production, engineering, and NDT teams to achieve quality and schedule targets.

The candidate will verify welder qualifications, welding equipment, and welding parameters.

Qualifications

Experience supervising welding and allied activities.
Familiarity with WPS, PQR, ITP, drawings, and project specs.
Ability to verify welder qualifications and welding equipment.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and NDT teams.
Monitor welding parameters and sequences.
Review and ensure implementation of WPS and manage deviations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor all welding and allied activities in the fabrication yard.
Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS, PQR, ITP, drawings, and project specs.
Verify welder qualifications, welding machines, consumables, electrodes, and storage conditions.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and NDT teams to meet quality and schedule targets.
Witness fit-up, root pass, welding sequence, heat input, and welding parameters.
Review and ensure proper implementation of WPS and manage deviations.
