Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Valve Inspector for offshore fabrication projects. You will perform inspection, testing, and verification of valves to ensure compliance with project specs, international codes, and client requirements.

Responsibilities cover incoming and in-process inspections, testing, preservation, and documentation within the fabrication yard, with emphasis on material traceability against MTCs and BOM, and suitability for offshore service conditions.

Qualifications

• Incoming inspection of valves to verify material type, size, rating, class, end connections.
• Inspect valves including gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, control, choke, and special purpose for offshore applications.
• Verify nameplate details, markings, and traceability against MTCs and BOM.
• Ensure valves are suitable for offshore service conditions (pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance).

Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming inspection of valves to verify material type, size, rating, class, end connections, and compliance with approved datasheets and purchase orders.
• Inspect valves including gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, control, choke, and special purpose valves used for offshore applications.
• Verify nameplate details, markings, and traceability against MTCs and BOM.
• Ensure valves are suitable for offshore service conditions (pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance).
