Job summary

Ecojob in Nizwa, Oman is seeking a Courier to join our team. You will safely transport packages within the city, maintain delivery records, handle payments, and provide excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, at least 2 years’ courier experience, and good knowledge of Nizwa roads. GPS familiarity and English communication are required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a courier or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of Nizwa roads and traffic patterns.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pick up packages and documents from designated locations within Nizwa.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Ensure all packages are secure and handled with care during transportation.
• Collect payments from customers for delivered packages.
• Keep accurate records of all deliveries made.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Report any delays or issues with deliveries to the supervisor.
