Job summary

Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) seeks a Music and Fine Arts Teacher for elementary-intermediate levels (grades 3-8). The role requires collaboration with colleagues, parents, and principals to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction within a high-performing school culture.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, possess 3 years of full-time Pre-K–Gr 8 teaching experience, and have a valid teaching certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education from a recognized program.
• 3 years of full-time teaching experience in a Pre-K to Gr 8 setting.
• Valid professional teaching certification/licensure in appropriate subjects and levels.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
• Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate daily classroom instruction for diverse learners.
• Nurture positive professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Work with principals, educators, paraprofessionals, and volunteers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to SAES curriculum.
• Establish clear learning objectives for students and parents.
• Hold students to high standards of citizenship, academic achievement, and growth.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assess and provide high-quality feedback on learning progress.
• Monitor students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth and intervene when needed.
• Modify instruction to optimize learning for all students.
• Maintain accurate student records on attendance, performance, and conduct.
• Uphold SAES policies and school regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and development.

Overview

We are seeking a Music and Fine Arts Teacher with experience as an elementary-intermediate level Teacher (grade levels 3-8) to join the Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES).

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

• You will work collaboratively to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate daily classroom instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners.
• You will be responsible for nurturing positive professional relationships and for working collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues to optimize the educational experience for the entire learning community.
• You will perform under the supervision of school principals and in frequent partnership with other educators, paraprofessionals, and parent volunteers.
• You will collaboratively plan and implement rigorous, meaningful, developmentally appropriate classroom instruction and interventions aligned to SAES curriculum.
• You will be able to establish and communicate clear learning objectives to students and parents.
• You will hold students to high standards of citizenship, academic achievement, and personal growth.
• You must create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom learning environment and contribute to a positive professional school climate and culture.
• You will assess and evaluate student learning progress using multiple assessment methods and communicate ongoing, high-quality feedback on learning progress.
• You will also monitor students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth and, when necessary, intervene and seek support from appropriate colleagues.
• You will have the ability to modify instruction and provide additional support, as needed, to optimize learning and growth of all students.
• You will maintain accurate student records on attendance, classroom performance, and conduct.
• You will uphold and enforce Company and SAES policies, administrative instructions, school rules and regulations.
• You will also engage actively in ongoing regional, district, school and independent professional learning and development to hone professional knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education from a recognized and approved program.
• You will have 3 year’s full-time teaching experience in a Pre-K to Gr 8 setting and will hold a valid professional teaching certification/licensure in appropriate subjects and levels.
• You will demonstrate an excellent command of oral and written English.
• You will also demonstrate successful capacity to work collaboratively, as well as independently.
