Job summary

A leading Oil & Gas company in Oman is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor. The role requires at least 5 years of instructor experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a strong background in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop training materials. This contract role lasts 6 months and is open to male candidates only.

Contract: 6 months

Languages: Arabic & English

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a mechanical instructor or trainer for 5‑10 years.
• 10‑15 years of practical industrial experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with competency‑based training delivery.
• Familiarity with competency assurance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas or Refinery sectors is compulsory.
• Conduct classroom and on‑job training as per program design, including assessment and examination.
• Ability to develop and assess training materials and task books.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prepare training plans/schedules, training reports, etc.
