Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities and Duties of Building and Construction Task Supervisor

We are seeking a knowledgeable Building and Construction Job Supervisor to plan and oversee construction projects. Your role will involve arranging and supervising construction processes, ensuring projects are completed on time and efficiently.

An excellent Construction Project Supervisor should be skilled in all building techniques and procedures, capable of leading a team of professionals from various disciplines to achieve optimal results. The ideal candidate will have a logical mindset and strong business skills. The goal is to ensure all tasks are delivered punctually, meeting all requirements and within budget.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.
  2. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements.
  3. Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  4. Determine required resources (labor, equipment, materials) considering financial constraints.
  5. Plan construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
  6. Procure tools and materials, and monitor supplies to address shortages promptly.
  7. Hire contractors and staff, and assign responsibilities.
  8. Manage workers and technicians, providing support as needed.
  9. Review progress and prepare detailed reports.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report issues.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven experience as a construction project manager.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Experience with quality and health & safety standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
