Job summary

SafeBox in Al Buraymi seeks a skilled Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems on diverse projects in Oman, including new construction and renovations for residential, commercial and industrial properties.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid license or certification (Canadian preferred). Reading blueprints, safety compliance and strong problem-solving are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician (minimum 2 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification (Canadian preferred).
• Knowledge of local codes, regulations, safety procedures and best practices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams/blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent physical condition with ability to work in various environments (e.g. heights, confined spaces).
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment according to local codes.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
• Test electrical systems with tools such as voltage testers to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace faulty components.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors on project plans.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
