Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a hands-on Soft Landscape Supervisor to oversee day-to-day soft landscaping delivery on site in Muscat. You will plan crews, allocate labour and materials, and ensure work progresses safely and to specification across trees, shrubs, turf and pruning.

The role requires 10+ years in soft landscaping with strong ability to supervise crews, coordinate irrigation, and maintain high site standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in soft landscaping delivery and maintenance.
• Strong practical capability across planting, trees, shrubs, turf works, pruning and landscape maintenance.
• Proven experience supervising landscaping crews on active sites.
• Experience coordinating irrigation activities to support planting establishment and ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to plan daily work programmes, allocate labour and track progress against tasks on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise soft landscaping crews on site, setting daily tasks, priorities and productivity targets.
• Plan and oversee planting works for trees, shrubs, groundcover and seasonal displays to drawings and schedules.
• Inspect turf installation and maintenance works including grading checks, laying methods, watering plans and recovery actions.
• Carry out quality checks for pruning, trimming and general softscape maintenance to agreed horticultural practices.
• Coordinate irrigation activities with the relevant teams to support establishment watering and ongoing landscape performance.
• Monitor plant health and site conditions, identifying pests, disease or stress and arranging corrective maintenance actions.
• Organise labour, tools and materials for daily works, ensuring the right resources are available when needed.
• Maintain clear site records such as daily progress updates, manpower returns and material usage for supervisor reporting.
• Enforce safe working practices across crews including manual handling, tool use and working around live irrigation systems.
• Liaise with site stakeholders to confirm access requirements, work sequencing and completion sign off for assigned areas.
