Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical commissioning activities for a significant Oil & Gas project in Oman. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 18 years of experience with profound knowledge of mechanical systems. This initial 3-month role may extend based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• In-depth knowledge of rotating and static equipment, piping systems, and utilities.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Lead system walk-downs, punch list management, and mechanical completion processes.
• Oversee testing, flushing, pressure testing, and functional checks of piping and equipment.
