With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco’s value to society.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations’ spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom’s vast hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.

We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.

Overview

We are seeking a Lead Financial Reporting & Performance Analyst with strong accounting fundamentals, deep SAP and financial systems expertise, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful performance insights to work for the Downstream Finance, Planning & Permanence Management Department.

As the successful candidate will go beyond accurate reporting to actively improve processes, simplify workflows, and enhance how financial information is produced and used across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Financial Reporting & Systems Excellence – Leads and delivers accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal governance, serves as an SAP and financial systems expert, resolves complex reporting and system issues, and drives system integration and transformation initiatives to improve financial processes and organizational performance.

Performance Metrics & Forward-Looking Analysis –Expert in analyzing financial KPIs (P&L, ROACE, capital efficiency), assessing strategic decisions’ financial impact, and delivering executive-level performance insights and accountability reporting.

Process Improvement & Transformation Leadership – Leads end-to-end finance process optimization, system integration, and transformation initiatives, ensuring enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and insight in financial operations. Champions automation, standardization, and control improvements while fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining robust governance and audit readiness.

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, and performance analysis, ideally within oil & gas or other capital-intensive industries.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP and financial accounting systems.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements and value-based performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to anticipate business impacts, not just report historical outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and better ways of working.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative, change-oriented team player with a passion for the energy business.
