Job Description:

The Kitchen Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the central kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and timely delivery to catering clients and the restaurant’s three branches. The role requires strong culinary expertise, leadership, and organizational skills to maintain consistency, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of the central kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee food preparation, portioning, and quality control to meet Al Jood’s culinary standards.
  • Plan and update menus in coordination with management and branch chefs.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Control food costs, minimize waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and lead kitchen staff, ensuring discipline and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with branch chefs and catering teams for consistent quality and timely delivery.
  • Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and report any operational needs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production, costs, and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Lebanese nationality (required).
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager, preferably in Lebanese cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Lebanese dishes and cooking methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Sound understanding of cost control, budgeting, and central kitchen operations.
  • Strong commitment to food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
