Job summary

VertexGlobal is hiring a Junior Land Surveyor in Muscat to measure and map the Earth’s surface using GPS, total stations, and levels. You will work with senior surveyors to collect data, analyze results, and prepare reports for construction and engineering projects. Training will be provided; no prior experience is required.

The role offers full‑time employment with visa sponsorship. Basic English is preferred, though not strictly required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Basic understanding of surveying principles and techniques.
• Ability to use surveying equipment and software effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors in conducting land surveys and collecting data using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and levels
• Analyze collected data to create detailed maps and drawings
• Prepare reports and present findings to project managers and clients
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy of surveys for construction projects
• Keep accurate records of all surveying activities
