Job summary

JobCenter in Nizwa, Oman is seeking an Entry Level Construction Manager to support planning, budgeting, and oversight of construction projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start a career in construction management.

You will coordinate with contractors, monitor progress, ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations, and communicate updates to clients and project managers. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Biometric passport for travel purposes (preferred).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and budgeting of construction projects
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
• Conduct site visits to inspect work quality, address issues, and maintain project timelines
• Communicate updates and progress reports to clients and project managers
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success
