Abroad Work in Muscat, Oman is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team on a contract basis. You will assist with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

This entry-level role requires no prior experience; we welcome applicants from all nationalities. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are provided to support your start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or pursuing).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording and reconciling accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Participate in audit activities as needed
• Support other ad hoc accounting tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
