Job summary

Aptus Infotech LLC in Muscat is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a solid background in finance or accounting, and excellent English communication skills.

You will record and maintain financial transactions, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, assist with month-end close, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
