Job summary

Soundlines Consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Injection Moulding) in Oman to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines used in plastic manufacturing. You will troubleshoot mechanical faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, gearing, and drive assemblies to minimize downtime.

The role also covers maintaining and repairing clamping units, injection units, and auxiliary equipment such as hopper dryers and chillers, with a focus on reliability and safe

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of injection moulding machines used in plastic manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults in hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and mechanical drive assemblies.
• Maintain and repair injection moulding machines, clamping units, injection units, screw and barrel assemblies.
• Diagnose machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Maintain auxiliary equipment such as hopper dryers, chillers, cooling towers, granulators, and material handling systems.
