Qualifications

  • End-to-End Onboarding: manage onboarding for permanent staff and event-based contractors.
  • Training Needs Analysis: identify gaps and design training on service excellence and brand standards.
  • Event Staffing Logistics: coordinate large-scale temporary staff, rosters, and on-site HR support.
  • HR Administration: maintain HRIS, manage leaves, ensure files comply with local law.
  • Performance Support: assist in performance reviews and feedback loops.
  • Omanisation Initiatives: support recruitment and training of Omani youth.

Global Events Org is seeking a vibrant and organized HR & Training Coordinator to join our team at Al Mouj. In the fast-paced world of international events, our people are the front line of our success. You will be responsible for the "full-circle" employee experience, with a heavy emphasis on talent development and hospitality-standard service training. We are looking for a candidate who can balance the administrative rigors of HR with a passion for coaching and developing multi-cultural teams.

Location: Muscat, MA, OM. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.

Core Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the integration of new permanent staff and event-based contractors, ensuring all documentation, site inductions, and cultural briefings are completed flawlessly.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Identify skill gaps within the events and operations teams, designing and delivering training modules on service excellence, event safety, and brand standards.
  • Event Staffing Logistics: Coordinate the mobilization of large-scale temporary staff for major events, managing shift rosters, briefings, and on-site HR support.
  • HR Administration: Maintain the HRIS database, manage leave records, and ensure all employee files are compliant with Omani Labour Law and company standards.
  • Performance Support: Assist department heads in conducting performance reviews and managing employee feedback loops to maintain a high-performance event culture.
  • Omanisation Initiatives: Assist in the recruitment and specialized training of Omani youth, fostering local talent for the growing events and tourism sector.
Professional Profile
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in Training & Development or Hospitality/Event Management.
  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills; ability to lead engaging training sessions for diverse groups.
  • Deep understanding of the Omani Labour Law and GOSI requirements.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads during peak event seasons.
  • Bilingual Excellence: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential for conducting training and interacting with local stakeholders and international staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, or a related field.
