Job summary

Abroad Work is hiring a Waiter for a prestigious restaurant in Nizwa, Oman. You will provide exceptional service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and meeting guest needs. The position is contract-based with accommodation provided and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Greet guests, present menus, and make recommendations while ensuring order accuracy and dietary accommodations. Strong English and Arabic communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in waitstaff or food service preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Strong communication in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have visa or be willing to obtain work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, take orders, and make menu recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure accuracy of all orders and handle special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down tables as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
