The ideal candidate holds a Drama/Theatre Studies degree with UK QTS, proven leadership as a Head of Department, and a strong track record directing serious drama productions.

Qualifications

• Degree or training specifically in Drama and Theatre Studies.
• UK QTS is required.
• Leadership experience as Head of Department in Drama/Theatre Studies.
• Proven teaching at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, with Edexcel GCSE knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of Drama curriculum across KS3, KS4 and A-level.
• Direct and supervise drama productions with a strong, non-musical focus.
• Maintain exemplary references and stability in school staffing.
