Job summary

Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) is seeking an experienced Service Engineer based in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 12 years of experience in servicing diesel generators, particularly with expertise in PLC programming and turnkey project execution. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Genset systems, performing maintenance, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong communication skills necessary. Qualifications

• 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in Genset servicing.
• Preferred experience with Cummins or any reputed Genset make.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel generator systems.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of Gensets.
• Handle PLC programming and control panel modifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute turnkey power projects.
• Support site activities including installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project execution.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at site.

BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
