Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with ABQ’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in accordance with school expectations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to enhance student learning.
- Integrate digital tools and resources, including the ABQ 1 1 Chromebook Programme.
- Participate in professional development and school enrichment activities.
- Uphold and model the ABQ values of respect, integrity and excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
- Cambridge Curriculum preferred.
- Strong command of English, spoken and written.
- Competence in using technology as a teaching tool.
- A passion for innovative teaching and student success.
- Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional Preferences
- Experience with Cambridge International and/or UK Curriculum.
- Experience with Oman MoE GED curriculum.
- Previous teaching experience in the Middle East.
- Additional certifications in education technology or inclusive education.
