Job summary

Work standard in Muscat is seeking a Gardener Supervisor to oversee gardening operations and lead a team in daily outdoor maintenance. The role involves planning tasks, training staff, and ensuring high standards of plant health and site cleanliness.

You will monitor pest control, manage tools and inventory, and coordinate schedules while ensuring safety and quality in all planting and maintenance activities. English communication is required; Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Gardener Supervisor or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of plants and pest control methods.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Physical stamina for outdoor labour in varying weather.
• Good English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Gardener Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener Supervisor to join our team in Muscat. As the Gardener Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the gardening operations and team. This includes planning, organizing, and directing all gardening activities, as well as providing training and guidance to the gardening staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of gardeners to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan, organize, and schedule gardening tasks, including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control
• Monitor plant health and identify any issues or diseases; take appropriate measures to maintain healthy plants
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; arrange for repairs or replacements when needed
• Train new gardening staff on proper techniques and safety protocols
• Develop and implement a waste management plan for garden debris

Requirements

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Salary

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship will be provided if needed.
