Job summary

ForceShield in Nizwa is seeking an experienced Gardener to maintain and enhance gardens, lawns and landscapes across properties. You will mow, water, prune, fertilize and plant flowers and other plants, with strong knowledge of varied plant care. The role requires physical fitness, reliability and the ability to work independently.

The position is a contract job with a monthly salary of 1,100 CAD. Preference for Canadian nationality but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of different plants, flowers, trees and their care requirements.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of gardening equipment usage and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming hedges, watering plants and removing weeds.
• Plant new flowers, shrubs or trees according to the property design.
• Apply fertilizer or pesticides when needed to maintain plant health.
• Monitor plant growth and adjust care as necessary for healthy growth.
• Prune trees and shrubs to maintain shape and promote growth.
• Keep garden tools clean and organized at all times.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures.
