Job description

Position Overview

This position is based in Ireland. We are looking for a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our team in Ireland. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

As a Fabricator / Welder, you'll be responsible for fabricating components from steel, aluminum, and other materials, using MIG and TIG welding to meet high standards. Your work will involve building and modifying road‑marking vehicles and equipment, as well as maintaining machinery to minimize operational downtime. You will work closely with our engineering and road marking teams, applying your expertise in a hands‑on manufacturing environment that prioritizes precision and safety.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary: The starting salary is €34,000 per year, or €16.77 per hour, based on a 40‑hour work week. Your salary may be higher based on experience and will increase proportionately for any additional hours worked. Overtime is available and paid at applicable rates. Work Schedule: The role primarily involves standard daytime hours but may require occasional overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a fabricator and welder, along with relevant certifications.
• Valid Safe Pass certification is required.
• Proven experience as a fabricator and welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Current welding certifications in both MIG and TIG.
• Experience with vehicle bodywork, truck builds, and hydraulic systems.
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with fabrication tools and machinery, including cutting tools, grinders, and forklifts.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition for manual handling.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
• A Class C driver’s license is preferred.
