Job summary

Workato in Muscat is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. You will construct, repair, and maintain structures using bricks, blocks, stone and related materials.

You will read blueprints, lay out foundations, cut materials, mix mortar, apply adhesives, and ensure safety and quality on site. The role requires at least 3 years of masonry experience, physical stamina, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mason.
• Knowledge of masonry materials, tools, equipment, methods and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans.
• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor.
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work at heights.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine specifications and requirements.
• Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans.
• Measure and cut materials to required sizes using hand or power tools.
• Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas.
• Apply mortar or other adhesives to surfaces as needed.
• Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, levels, and other equipment.
• Repair cracks or chips in surfaces with proper materials.
• Install structures such as chimneys or fireplaces.
• Ensure that all work areas are clean and free of hazards.

Salary:

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
