About This Role

As a senior trial attorney, you will lead cases from start to finish, working alongside a skilled team that shares your passion for excellence. You will take charge of your own caseload, handling every phase of litigation – from drafting pleadings and motions to making court appearances and taking depositions. We are looking for someone who thrives on strategy, loves courtroom advocacy, and brings a sharp understanding of the California Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code.

Ideal Candidate
  • You’ve first- or second-chaired at least five trials in trust and probate litigation and love the thrill of trial work.
  • You are comfortable in the courtroom, at depositions, and at the negotiating table, with a knack for persuasive writing and case strategy.
  • You are personable, easily building strong relationships with clients while earning the respect of opposing counsel.
  • You are committed to achieving the best outcomes for your clients, balancing aggressive advocacy with professional diplomacy.
Qualifications
  • Five (5)+ years Attorneys who handle trusts and estate litigation matters.
  • Prepared for and attended a minimum of 25 depositions and five trials, organizing, saving and uploading evidence for virtual depositions
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the Probate Code, CRC, and CCP.
  • Ability to proactively run a case from inception through trial within minimal supervision.
  • Tech savvy
  • Proficient in MS Office suites.
  • Proficient with Clio
  • Comfortable with meeting minimum billable requirements and time entry systems.
  • Team player.
