Job summary

A reputable transportation company in Nizwa is seeking a reliable and experienced Light Driver to join our team. The role focuses on safe operation of light vehicles to transport goods and passengers in and around Nizwa.

This full-time position offers a salary of 1,700 USD per month, with opportunities for growth within the company. You will be expected to follow traffic regulations, plan efficient routes, and maintain vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Light Driver.
• Valid drivers license for light vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Nizwa roads and traffic regulations.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks to transport goods and passengers.
• Follow traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe driving at all times.
• Plan the most efficient route for each trip to minimize time and fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle as required.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of trips including fuel consumption mileage and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
