Job summary

A prominent luxury resort in Oman seeks an experienced culinary leader to oversee its day-to-day operations. This role involves mentoring a passionate culinary team and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Candidates must have prior experience in a 5-star hospitality environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Fluency in English is required. This position is open to expatriates only.

  • Experience with HACCP standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our Client is a 5* very high end International Chain Boutique Resort with 50+ Villas and several F&B outlets in Oman. You will be overseeing the day to day culinary operations of this unique property and lead and mentor a team of passionate staff who deliver a truly memorable experience for their guests.

This role will be reporting directly to General Manager.

Note that this superb resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

Profile
  • 5* international chain and leisure resort experience
  • Island or remote location experience
  • Strong luxury foundation in internationally branded properties
  • Strong knowledge of working practices and principles in a 5-star hospitality setting
  • Able to deal effectively with guests in a luxury environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with great eye for detail
  • Experience with HACCP Standard
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and guests
  • Familiar with budgeting and costing
  • Well organized, energetic, hands‑on
  • A person full of drive who loves and can relay to and follow the vision of this unique company and property
  • Hard working and able to work efficiently under pressure
